COLOMBO- Former President Late Ranasinghe Premadasa was remembered on his 97th birthday in Colombo on Wednesday, June 23.
Parliamentarians and well-wishers came to pay their respected to the leader who brought in the Gam Udawa project in Sri Lanka to develop the villages.
His son Sajith , who is the present opposition leader and his mother Hema Premadasa were present at the commemorative meeting.Religious ceremonies were held in memory of the late leader.
