COLOMBO- The annual flag hoisting ceremony to mark the beginning of the holy month of Rabiul Awwal- was held at the Dewatagaha Mosque located near Town Hall on Monday,September 26.
The event held under the chairmanship of Reyyaz Salley will continue its recital ceremonies daily for a period of 12 days. The Holy Prophet Muhmmed was born during the month of Rabiul Awwal according to Islamic calendar.
