NEGOMBO: A large group of fishermen took to the streets on Wednesday ,August 18,for the third consecutive day to demand for kerosene which is a must for their daily fishing expedition.
The protesters told Colombo Times that they could not go for fishing for the past three months due to want of kerosene .
The protesters have set up tents near the Periyamulla railway crossing on the Negombo road and said they would continue the protests till the problem is resolved.
