COLOMBO Facebook has suffered a major global outage, leaving users unable to access the platform and disrupting Facebook Messenger services as well.
Users across multiple regions reported being automatically logged out of their accounts and facing difficulties logging back in, with error messages stating that an “unexpected error occurred.”.
The main Facebook website also appeared to be affected, displaying a message saying, “something went wrong” and that the issue was being worked on.
While other Meta-owned platforms, including Instagram and WhatsApp, appeared to remain largely operational, some Instagram web services were also reported to have experienced issues.
