COLOMBO – Euro Tech Academy of Fashion Designing and Bespoke Tailoring celebrated its 5th anniversary and get-together ceremony at Reality Plaza, Ja Ela on Saturday October 28.
It was held under the patronage of the Founder Chairman Founder and Senior Lecturer of the Academy Wasantha Rathnayake.
The Chairman and Chief Lecturer Wasantha Rathnayake, a pioneer in the field of bespoke tailoring with over 40 years of experience from which, for over 16 years owning a bespoke Tailoring business to supply suits to the major designer labels in the United Kingdom and Italy.
Wasantha Rathnayake said the course is structured in a way that a student can major in all three parts as in full suits, trousers and shirts (for both men’s and women’s) or one of the above individual part as you prefer, to start your own business, direct application for a Masters in a country of choice with proper training to face the practical examination, carrier path development or be a valued team member of a prestigious label or to add value to your existing business.
They also have their own brand – Executive Club, which is focused on bespoke tailoring of Shirts, Trousers, suits, shoes and related accessories.
Hameedia Group Managing Director Fowzul Hameed, Media Personality MTV/MBC Channels Ltd Roshan Watawala and AIA Insurance Lanka Limited Senior Assistant General Manager Training and Development Sumendra S. Jayaram also addressed the gathering.
