Eid Greetings From Inter Religious Leaders of Sri Lanka

On the occasion of the sacred festival of Eid-ul-Fithr, the interfaith leaders representing the National Interfaith Clergy Fellowship of Sri Lanka, Ven. Dr. Sasthrapathi Galagama Dammaransi Nayaka Thero, Rev. Dr. Sivashri Babusharma Kurukkal, Al-Haj Ash-Seyed Dr. Hassan Moulana Al-Quadiri, and Rev. Father Dr. Nishan Sampath Cooray, extend their heartfelt greetings to all those celebrating this blessed day.

On this holy occasion, the values of humanity, compassion, and peace should be firmly upheld in society. The discipline, sacrifice, and self-restraint learned through fasting must be applied for the betterment of the community.

May Eid al-Fitr become a celebration of love that unites all religions. Let unity, brotherhood, and mutual respect be further strengthened.

Fasting teaches us not only patience and self-control but also to understand the suffering of the less fortunate. On this special day, may everyone live in harmony and peace.

On this day filled with love and sharing, may all communities come together to build a peaceful future. Emphasizing unity beyond religions, peace, and humanity, we extend our warmest Eid greetings to everyone.

Eid Mubarak!
