“Ehi Passiko” Peace Walk Enters Third Day from Temple of the Tooth
The third day of the “Ehi Passiko” global peace walk commenced Friday, April, (24) from the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
The group of monks, led by Venerable Pannakara Thero, arrived in Kandy on Thursday afternoon before beginning the third day walk this morning.
Today’s route is scheduled to pass through Peradeniya, Pilimathalawa, Kadugannawa, Mawanella, and Beligammana, before reaching the Vidyawardhana Pirivena.
The peace walk will continue Saturday, April (25) through Mawanella, Beligammana, Vidyawardhana Pirivena, Kudugala Junction, Kegalle, and Galigamuwa, before arriving at Tholangamuwa National School.
