COLO.BO – The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt has conveyed its deepest condolences to the Government and people of Sri Lanka following the tragic flooding and landslides that have caused the loss of many lives and widespread devastation across the island.
” We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the families who have lost loved ones to those who have been injured. and to the many communities affected by this disaster. We also acknowledge and commend the tireless efforts of the Sri Lankan authorities. rescue teams. armed forces. and volunteers who are working with dedication and courage during this challenging time,” the embassy said in a statement to the press
