Education ministry conducts ‘ Leaders Tomorrow’ programme for 13 schools in Colombo

COLOMBO – Ministry of Education had organized “Leaders Tomorrow “Leadership Training Programme for the Prefects of Colombo Schools at the Zahira College Colombo on Tuesday May 23. It was held under the patronage of Principal of the Zahira College Trizviiy Marikar.

There were 13 school students participated including  Ananda College, Nalanda College, St Joseph College, Hameed Al Hussainie College, Al Hidaya Maha Vidyalaya, Hamza College, Darus Salaam Maha Vidyalaya, TB Jayah Zahira College, Al Nasar Maha Vidyalaya, Zahira College, Al Hijra Maha Vidyalaya, St. Sebastian Maha Vidyalaya, Al  Hikma College and Dr. Baduidin Mahmood College.

Guest Speaker of the event was  Group Director, Capital Maharaja Group Chevaan Daniel. Director of Muslim Schools Ministry of Education Major N.T. Nasumutheen also addressed the gathering and Certificates were presented to participants of  this event.

Principal of Zahira College presented a token of appreciation to the Chevaan Daniel, Major N.T. Nasumutheen and King Ratnam.

Principals of the Ananda College Lal Dissanayake, Principal Nalanda College Thilak Waththuhewa, Principles of other Schools, Film Director King Ratnam, Board of Governors Secretary Alavi Mukthar, Old Boys Association President Mohamed Shiraz, Secretary Nuzri Munsoor, Past Prefects Association President Kaleel Rahuman, Secretary Muzni Munas and members were also present.
