COLOMBO : As part of efforts to rebuild Sri Lanka following the Ditwah cyclone, Doosan Bobcat India Pvt Ltd has donated a B760 backhoe loader valued at LKR 22 million to the government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ programme, supporting relief and reconstruction initiatives for affected communities.
The relevant documents were handed over today (19) at the Presidential Secretariat to Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, by Suk Namkoong, Managing Director of Doosan Bobcat India Pvt Ltd, and Christy Aravwala, Chairman of C‑Com Equipment Pvt Ltd.
Also present at the occasion were Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda (Retd.), Director of the Disaster Management Centre, Head of Sales for India and the SAARC region Aneesh Kunnummal, Managing Director of Edward & Christie Vijitha Pathiranne and representing C‑Com Jayantha Pushpakumara.
