COLOMBO : At the Independence Square, Divas Music Lounge has recreated the Bavarian Oktoberfest atmosphere, Germany’s universally popular festival, to the brim and is poised to swing into the weekend with a kick start with typical German 5 star Cuisine from Movenpick Hotel Colombo and beverages with all- time favourite Beers, as its centerpiece.
The German hostesses geared up for the festivities, will add colour and enthusiasm to the traditional festive Games- all to the rhythmic tunes of music Group, Wild Fire tomorrow (20th October) on its first of the three days of the festival.
What better way to start off the weekend at the very heart of Capitol Colombo, where it is all happening with all roads expected to lead to Independence Square‘s latest star addition Divas Music Lounge breaking into the entertainment scene for the first time with a culinary combo and fun filled entertainment with announcements of many firsts!
Movenpick has united with Divas to provide a truly extraordinary culinary experience at this Oktoberfest which will include the firm favourite dish of Sausages that will be available in many varieties-; Bratwurst, Nuremberg, Garlic sausages and the Frankfurters to name a few! These will have the toppings of onion gravy, mashed potato and sour sauerkraut.
Roasted Chicken Drumsticks, Chicken Bockwurst, Pickle Pork Knuckles, Pork Ribs, Boneless Gamon Steak, Slow Cooked Beef Sort Ribs, Bacon and Sausage Kottu are the many mouth- watering dishes that include the very wide menu, they will provide.
Most of these foods will be accompanied by vegetables, salads and a number of sauces and gravy. Bavarian Patato Salad with Sour Breads and Ham Gherkin with whole Grain Bread will also be available for those who enjoy the Starters.

All geared up and aptly dressed in Oktoberfest regalia, Divas Music Lounge announced that the guests will have the best of music with Shafi and Wild Fire on Friday 20th, the musical group- ‘The Warehouse Project’ will be playing on Friday 20th & Saturday 21st and on Sunday 22nd, ‘Misty’ will take the stage to rock you through with their renditions up-to midnight to have a Bavarian night to remember.
