COLOMBO) –A digitizing effort began Tuesday July 25 to preserve ancient frescoes in Buddhist temples.
Chief of the Central Cultural Fund Prof. Gamini Ranasinghe said the wall-paintings would be photographed and videoed for posterity.
The task began from Sudarshanarama temple in Kiribathgoda.
