KURNEGALA : Devans Night’ 2026 , a grand evening of elegance, music and brotherhood which was annually organized by the Old Boys Association of Maliyadeva College Kurunegala, held at the Hotel Epitome on 28th Saturday from 7.30 P.M onwards .
It was attended by a large gathering of old Devans with all black formal suits with a special Devans bow on top.
The night was filled with music, dances, fellowship and brotherhood and cherished memories .The group ‘Members’ thrilled the audience with their superb music throughout the event.
Two distinguished old boys of the alma mater, renowned specialist eye surgeon Dr Shamintha Amaratunga of ‘Denetha’ fame and Nilantha Dias , National Sales Manager of Country Style Foods Limited and also a renowned junior national ruggerite was attended as chief guest and guest- of- honour respectively in this special occasion .
This event was organized by the Vice president of the Social sub committee Thilina Dissanayaka and his committee under the patronage of Eng Dhammika Thanthirimalage (The active President of the Maliyadeva Old Boys Association ), Dr Thisara Perera and Mr Sarath Rathnayake (Co-Secretaries), Mr Suresh Ananda (Treasurer ) and Mr Uraj Sarathchandra (Senior Vice President ).
The event concluded with a raffle draw and a grand dinner .
