COLOMBO -Dengue Prevention Week commenced on Monday,May 19 , targeting high-risk MOH divisions across the country.
The National Dengue Control Unit announced that inspections will be carried out at a wide range of premises, including homes, schools, and public spaces, to detect and eliminate potential mosquito breeding grounds.
So far this year, over 19,000 dengue cases have been reported, along with seven confirmed deaths.
