COLOMBO : The Delta variant is the most transmissible variant yet, poses a major threat to unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, stated the Director of the Department of Immunology and Molecular Medicine of the University of Sri Jayawardenapura Dr. Chandima Jeewandara.
He further stated that, “adhering to mitigating measures until a significant percentage is fully vaccinated is important. The threat is not over yet”.(CDN)
