Darul Quran Libara Imil Iman Quran Madrasah Celebrates its Silver Jubilee

COLOMBO — The Management Committee, Board of Directors, teachers, students, and parents of Darul Quran Libara Imil Iman Quran Madrasah proudly celebrated its Silver Jubilee (25th Anniversary) on Sunday, April 12, at the BMICH. The event commemorated the institution’s long-standing tradition and its distinguished service to the community.

Ash-Sheikh A.C. Agar Muhammad, Director of Jamiah Naleemiah Islamic Institute, attended as the Chief Guest, while Ash-Sheikh Arkam Nooramith, General Secretary of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

Addressing the gathering, Ash-Sheikh A.C. Agar Muhammad emphasized the importance of following the Holy Quran in daily life, stating that it serves as a guiding example for all humanity. He also commended the Madrasah for its dedicated service over the past 25 years.

Al Qari Al Mujaiz Fawaz Bin Fazal, Principal of Markaz Al Iqra Quraniya Ijaza Study Course, delivered an inspiring session on the beauty and significance of the Holy Quran. The ceremony also included the felicitation of 10 Hafiz (male and female students) who successfully completed the memorization of the Holy Quran. Certificates and awards were presented to them by the distinguished guests.

The celebration featured a range of engaging programs, including artistic performances by Madrasah students, presentations on the institution’s curriculum, the launch of a dedicated website for Madrasah, and a prize-giving ceremony.

The event was further honored by the presence of esteemed Ulemas, intellectuals, and numerous other distinguished guests.
