Therefore, in areas affected by strong winds, heavy rainfall, and flooding, the devotees are advised to perform Zuhar Salaath at home in place of Jummah.
The Wakfs Board of Sri Lanka, with the guidance of the Fatwa Committee of the All Ceylon Jamiyathul Ulama (ACJU), has directed all Trustees of Jummah Mosques to make an immediate announcement through their loudspeakers, informing the devotees to:

This directive applies only to the areas currently affected by strong winds, flooding, and severe rainfall, and should not be extended to regions that remain safe.
