COLOMBO : Following the 10-day lockdown imposed by the Sri Lankan government from Saturday, August 21, the city of Colombo was deserted on the first day of the quarantine curfew.
Only the people who were involved in essential services of the country and the wholesalers kept their shops open for the retailers to purchase their goods.
