COLOMBO : Youths between the age groups of 18 and 30 will be vaccinated after period of a fortnight.
The Government plans to vaccinate people in the age goup as its next phase of its vaccination programme.
Minister of Education Prof GL Peiris told a press conference on Monday August 9, that the Government is making necessary arrangement to vaccinate the said segment of the society.
Senior Advisor to the President Lalith Weeratunga last week said that the Government is also currently looking into vaccinating school children between the ages of 12 to 18 years against COVID-19 using the US-manufactured Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
