COLOMBO : Cabinet approval has been granted to award the long-term contract of importing diesel to Coral Energy of UAE, the Government Information Department said on Tuesday,March 15
Bids have been invited from registered suppliers to award the long term contract of import of diesel (maximum Sulfur percentage of 0.05) for a period of eight months from March 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022.
The Special Procurement Standing Committee appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers has recommended awarding the relevant procurement to Coral Energy DMCC Company of UAE.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the resolution submitted by the Power Minister to award the said procurement to the said company.
Meanwhile, bids have been invited for the award of a long term contract for importing crude oil for seven months from June 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022.
The Cabinet appointed Standing Procurement Committee has recommended to award the relevant procurement to Coral Energy DMCC Company of United Arab Emirates. Cabinet of Ministers approve the proposal by the Minister of Power to award this contract in accordance with this recommendation.
