COLOMBO : Mohammed Himaz,52, member of the Colombo Municipal Council died in the morning on Saturday due to a fall in the washroom.
Fellow councilor Muhammed Kaleel Ur Rahman told Colombo Times that the death was solely due to his fall in the bathroom in the morning .
“ Himaz was an enthusiastic member of the council who actively took part in Prophet Muhammed’ s birthday celebrations held at the Town Hall on Friday morning on Sept.29.
Himaz was an old boy of Colombo Hameed Al Husseini College and his children are also reading in the same school.
Funeral arrangements will be notified in due course , Kaleel Ur Rahman added.
