COLOMBO: Colombo Deputy Mayor M T M Iqbal distributed vouchers for dry rations to more than 1.000 families in his Masangasweediya Ward at the Rutnam playground on Saturday,August 6.
The deputy mayor said that the Colombo Municipal Council has identified some 1.2 million families in the municipal area for such distribution of dry rations which cost Rs 3.500/-
The recipients of the vouchers can purchase their requirements from the nearest Sathosa outlets.
