COLOMBO — The Colombo Municipal Council organised the Meelad un Nabi Religious Programme to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday at the Colombo Municipal Council Members Hall on Thursday September 4.
It was held under the patronage of Mayor of Colombo Ms. Vraie Cally Balththazaar.
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Dr. Rizvi Salih, Governor of the Western Province Hanif Yusoof, All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Secretary Ash Sheik Arkam Nooramith and Muncipal Commissioner Palitha Nanayakkara attended the event.
Deputy Mayor of Colombo Hemantha Weerakoon and Members of the Council, Moulavi Quari Faizal Hassan, Dewatagaha Jumma Mosque President Reyyaz Salley and Municipal Staff were also present.
