COLOMBO : The board of management of Sri Lanka Islamic Centre, headed by the former Colombo City Father and former ambassador to Saudi Arabi, has expressed its condolences and sympathies to the people of Libya and the families of the victims and those who injured from the horrific floods and torrents of rains that struck in the eastern Libya .
The management deeply saddened by the resulting loss of properties, especially human lives
The board of management expressed its solidarity with the people of Libya in this great affliction
Further the board pray to Almighty Allah grant mercy to the victims and speedy recovery of those injured
