COLOMBO :The Colombo branch of Kalmunai Zahira College (National School) old boys Association an organized its annual Iftar function at the Wellawatte Marine Drive Banquet Reception Hall on 15.03. under the chairmanship of the association president Dr. Muneer Abubukar
Dr. Muneer delivered his speech stating that it is noteworthy that the alumni of Kalmunai Zahira College, an national school which produces producing the highest number of graduates to various Universities’ in the Eastern Province and also other old boys are serving as professionals not only in the country but also in the public, private and commercial sectors in many countries around the world.
In addition, Zahira College Kalmunai Colombo Branch members have studied at this college ,live in Colombo and they are working in public and private sectors participated in the event, Moulavi Arkam also delivered prayers and religious speeches Secretary Nabiris Ahamed proposed the vote of thanks for this ifthar which brought national unity and brotherhood among the old boys of the association.
