Christmas Greetings and Good Wishes from Iranian Cultural Counselor

To the Esteemed People of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka ,

On the occasion of the blessed birth of Jesus Christ, the bearer of love, humility, and hope for humanity, I extend my sincere greetings and warm congratulations to the noble and dignified people of Sri Lanka, with profound respect and heartfelt goodwill.

Christmas is a season that celebrates the birth of light amid darkness and serves as a timeless reminder of compassion, reconciliation, and human dignity—values that unite nations and illuminate the path toward peaceful coexistence.

Iran and Sri Lanka, two ancient civilizations enriched by deep spiritual traditions, have long emphasized dialogue between hearts, enduring friendship, and mutual respect for one another’s beliefs and cultural heritage.

I hope that this blessed season brings peace, blessings, and renewed hope to Christian families and to all the people of this beautiful land.
May the enduring message of love and mercy embodied in the birth of Christ inspire a world that is more just, more compassionate, and more united in solidarity.
