COLOMBO : Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka early next month for a two-day visit, Foreign Ministry sources said.
His visit is aimed at further strengthening bilateral ties and the visit is expected between January 7 and 9.
The high-level Chinese delegation led by the Minister is to meet the Government leaders and high ranking officials. The talks will focus on matters of mutual interests,Foreign Ministry sources said.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi last visited Sri Lanka in January 2020. China is expected to come up with a number of investment proposals during this high-level visit.
