COLOMBO : Qi Zhenhong,Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka met Major General (Retd.) G. Vijitha Ravipriya, Director General of Sri Lanka Customs on 15 March 2021. On behalf of the Chinese people, Ambassador Qi handed over another batch of PPEs including 585 sets of protective clothing and shoes covers (13 boxes), 50,000 disposable face masks (25 boxes), 9600 KN95 face masks (10 boxes), 240 goggles (not disposable, 2 boxes), 1500 pairs of disposable gloves (3 boxes), and 10 SteriLamps to Sri Lanka Customs to support the front line customs officers fighting against COVID-19.
