COLOMBO — Chinafort Gem and Jewellery Traders Association, GEM SRI LANKA and Chinafort Mosque Society met President Ranil Wickramasinghe and handed over Rs. 40,198,902 in support of the Gaza Children Fund at Presidential Secretariat Tuesday May 21.
Member of Parliament and Chinafort Gem and Jewellery Traders Association President Marjan Faleel handed over the cheque to President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Tuesday,May 21.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry PC, Saudi Arabia Ambassador designate Ameer Ajward and members of the Association and Mosque Society were also present.
They extend their profound gratitude to all the children, elders, and other contributors who generously supported this cause with their contributions and blessings for the betterment of the lives of the children of Gaza.
“ Thanks are due to President Wickramasinghe for this noble initiative and to the Minister Ali Sabry for his unwavering support,”Marjan Faleel said.
