COLOMBO : Senthil Kumaran’s Relief fund from Canada and Lions Club of Colombo Grandway jointly distributed dry rations to the underprivileged families in the upcountry region recently.
Each pack containing 10Kg Rice and 5 Kg Flour were distributed to families from Westhall Estate Nawalapitiya, Carolina and Lonec Estates from Watawala, Protel Estate from Welioya, Fordys Estate and Oteri Estate form Hatton, Srivani School Dickoya, Pitavin School Hatton and Thangagala and Moraiya Estate from Lindula.
Lions Club 306B1 Region – 3 Chairperson Lion Jeyaprakash, Colombo Grandway President Lion Baskaran Mahamani, Project Chairperson Lion Pathmanathan, Marketing and Communication Chairperson Lion Shiraj, Lion Vijayan, Lion Kamal , Lion Vithiyarooban and members from the Club who took part in this program along with the coordinators from relevant areas respectively Udayadasan and Charles.
District 306B1 Governor Lion Al Haj. Raazik has been instrumental in organizing this event and similar welfare projects that are currently being undertaken by the other clubs that are governed by his governorship regime 2020/2021.
