COLOMBO -The Chamber of Tourism Industry bid adieu to outgoing Pakistan high commissioner Umar Farooq Burki who has completed his tour of duty in the island
The programme held in association with the Muslim Hansa in collaboration with Muslim Hands.
Among the attendees were Rauff Hakeem MP leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim congress State Minister of Rural Economic Cadermasthan, M.S Thoufeek MP, H.M.B.P Herath Secretary to he Minister of Tourism & Land, Chalaka Gajabahu Chairman Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Thisum Jayasuriya Chairman Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, Sanjeewa Wimalagunarathna DG NGO Secretariat, A.M Mihlar Country Director Muslim Hand & Pakistan High Commission officials participated.
Token of appreciation and honouring the Pakistan High Commissioner took place during the farewell program.
