Care Station gifts Rs 2.3 million worth emergency medical equipment to Corona Treatment Center in Welikanda

COLOMBO : Colombo-based Care Station donated Rs 2.3 million worth emergency medical equipment to the Corona Infection Treatment Center at Welikanda Hospital in Polonnaruwa on Sunday,July 5.

The ceremonial handing over the equipment was held in Colombo at a simple ceremony in Colombo.

The project manager Usmila Fayez handed the equipment to Doctors, Mohamed Ishfak and Summayya Hamsudeen, who are attached to the Welikanda Hospital.

The donation was made on a request made by these two doctors to help their hospital to treat the increasing number of Covid patients due to the third wave which is currently lashing the country.

Care Station is a non-profit making organization headed by its co-founders Khalib Cassim and Razni Razick.
