“Was good to meet minister Wijesekera to discuss proposals to address ongoing fuel shortages and electricity disruptions, the minister’s commitment to the No Coal Power Pact & the need to create a transparent and competitive policy space to attract investment into the renewable energy sector,” Hulton said.
Kanchana Wijesekera said “ Discussed and briefed on the plans for Energy crisis with the British High Commisioner in Sri Lanka this Saturday morning. Renewable Energy, No new Coal policy, plans for steady fuel supply, fuel supply for tourism, assistance from UK for reforms for Power & Energy was discussed.”
