NEGOMBO: Mohammed Mansoor,60, father of a daughter and three sons,, was trapped in the heavy rains and and swept away by flood waters in Periyamulla area in Negombo on Thursday, May 4 on the Chellakanda Road.
The authorities found his body only on Sunday evening around 3.40 pm. Following an intensive search for the dead man.
The police, navy and local people jointly conducted the search.
