TRINCOMALEE : Berendina donated medical equipment and supplies worth Rs 1,058,518 to the Intermediate Care Center (ICC) in Mullathivu, on Thursday,June 17
With the increasing number of COVID-19 positive patients, this donation was imperative as most care centers are running low on supplies. The equipment was received by Dr. Umashankar Muthukumarasamy Sharma (RDHS) and Dr. P. saththiyarooban (MO-planning). The Assistant District Secretary, Ms. Liso Kekitha was also present for the occasion as well.
The items donated included fingertip pulse oximeter, Digital BP apparatus, multipara monitors, 300 essential packs for patient’s requirements, pulse oximeter (tabletop), washing machines and refrigerators.
