COLOMBO : Berendina donated relief packs worth of Rs 2.2 million to 80 care centers for 2691 beneficiaries throughout the island.
The distribution took place in children’s homes, disability homes and elders home throughout eight districts namely Amapara, Anuradhapura, Badulla, Batticaloa, Kegalle, Killinochchi, Mullaitivu, Nuwaraeliya, Trincomalee and Vauniya, where dry ration was provided to 80 different care homes.
This immense contribution was made possible with the participation government officials, district officials, agents and especially the Berendina staff who performed their duties even during these uncertain times.
