Beijing Capital Airlines Launches Direct Flights To Colombo

Beijing Capital Airlines marked a significant milestone today in strengthening air connectivity between China
and Sri Lanka with the inauguration of its direct flight service from Beijing Daxing International Airport to
Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Colombo. The inaugural flight was welcomed in Colombo with an
official ceremony at BIA, attended by key representatives from the aviation, tourism, and diplomatic sectors.
The newly launched service will operate two weekly flights, providing enhanced and convenient access
between the Chinese capital and Sri Lanka. This direct connection is expected to play a vital role in
supporting tourism growth, facilitating business travel, and deepening connections between the two
countries.
China continues to be one of Sri Lanka’s important tourism source markets, and the introduction of direct
flights by Beijing Capital Airlines comes at a timely moment as Sri Lanka’s tourism sector continues its
recovery and expansion.

(GSA) for Beijing Capital Airlines in Sri Lanka. As a leading travel and aviation service provider, Advantis

The commencement of Beijing Capital Airlines’ operations to Colombo also adds further depth to Sri

The inaugural flight ceremony at Bandaranaike International Airport symbolised the beginning of a
