COLOMBO : A galaxy of guests turned up at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo to celebrate the. 55th National Day of Bangladesh which was hosted by its high commissioner Andalib Elias.
The chief guest of the occasion was Health and Media Minister Dr Nalinda Jayatissa who made the keynote address to the fully packed audience. The minister also joined the host to cut the ceremonial cake to mark the occasion . Western Province Governor Hanif Yusoof, deputy speaker Dr Rizvi Salih and deputy ministers, Muneer Mulaffer and Dr. Kaushalya Ariyarathne took part in the event followed by a sumptuous dinner.
