COLOMBO – The Iran Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Colombo had organized Seminar on titles “Investigating the influence of Imam Khomeini’s thought on the contemporary world “ to mark the Spiritual Leader and Founder of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini’s 34th death anniversary at the Iran Cultural Centre Auditorium, Colombo on Sunday June 4.
It was held under the patronage of Cultural Counsellor of Iran Cultural Centre Dr. B. Moazami Goodarzi.
Senior Lecturer of Department of International Relations University of Colombo Dr. George I.H. Cooke and Senior Lecturer, Department of Philosophy University of Peradeniya S. Weerawardene praised the Imam Khomeini’s contribution to Iran and his great efforts and meritorious services that led to the historic Islamic revolution.
Defence Attaché of Iranian Embassy Homayoun Aliyari, Chief of Economic and Consular Section K. Soheil and Chief of Political Section Seyyed Mostafa Hashemi were also present.
