COLOMBO: Amy’s,social service organization, distributed spectacles for the needy in their medical camps conducted recently in Kegalle and Colombo districts.
To mark the 150th anniversary of the police, Amys organized medical camps under the patronage of Kegalla area ASP H M D Herath in Hemmathagama police and Aranayaka mediliya Rajamaha Buddhist temple.
A free medical camp organized by Hemmathagama police station OIC C I Sumanaseka sponsored by managing director of AMYS Deshamanya Dr As Sheikh S K Thassim was held in Mawanella and Aranayake.
Similar camp was conducted at the Elephant Temple at Kupiyawatte under the patronage of the incumbent of the temple in the presence of Amys Executive Director A J Warith and OIC Dematagoda Mayadunne.
