COLOMBO- Former Additional Secretary and foreign service officer A.M. J. Sadiq High Commissioner-designate of Sri Lanka to Maldives took over duties in Male recently.
Sadiq presented his credentials to Chief of Protocol (Maldives), Ambassador Aishath Shan Shakir at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Male on Wednesday January 26.
Sadiq had served as ambassador in the Netherlands, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. He counts decades of experience in the Sri Lanka foreign service since 1988.
