COLOMBO : The Ambassador of Qatar to Sri Lanka, Jassim bin Jaber J.B. Al-Sorour, paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath on Tuesday. October 6.
The minister conveyed his sincere appreciation for the outgoing Ambassador’s distinguished role in further enhancing the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and the State of Qatar and commended his committed contribution as the Deen of the Diplomatic Corps. We also exchanged views on current issues of mutual interest with a special focus on foreign employment, trade, tourism, and investments.
