COLOMBO — The All Ceylon YMMA Conference had organized a felicitation ceremony to the Ambassador Designate to Saudi Arabia Ameer Ajward at its annual Ifthar ceremony held at the YMMA Headquarters, Colombo on Friday March 29.
National President of the YMMA Conference Ihsaan Hameed delivered the welcome address.
Ameer Ajward thanked the President and Executive Committee of the YMMA for organizing his reception. He also remembered the founder of the YMMA movement late Dr. A.M.A. Azeez and mentioned about YMMA’s community service and its yeoman services for humanity during the last 75 years continuously.
He pointed out close relationship with YMMA and Saudi Arabia during late S.B.C. Thassim and Mohammed Rasooldeen in Riyadh and mentioned about Khalid M. Farook’s service in Saudi Arabia for more than 30 years.
YMMA President Ihsan Hameed presented a memento to the Ameer Ajwad behalf of the YMMA Conference.
