COLOMBO — The inaugural ceremony of the All Island Inter Schools Cultural Competition 2025 organised by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education Vocational Education ( Muslim Schools Development Branch ) was held at the Zahira College Ghaffoor Hall, Colombo on Saturday November 1.
The Welcome speech was delivered by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education Vocational Education (Muslim Schools Development Branch Director of Education Major N.T. Nasumutheen.
Ministry of Education, Higher Education Vocational Education Additional Secretary Mrs. P.R. Kariyawasam was present as the chief guest.
The students from Muslim Ladies College presented the welcome dance and the launching theme song of All Island Inter School Muslim Cultural Competition presented by Zahira College and Muslim Ladies College students.
The chief guest and Zahira College Principal Trizviiy Marikkar addressed the gathering.
Senior Assistant Secretary of the (Administration and Land) Ministry of Education, Higher Education Vocational Education Mrs. M.F.K. Nissa proposed the vote of thanks.
Principals of Schools, Teachers, Students and Senior officials of the Ministry of Education were also present.
