COLOMBO — Al Ihsan Trust Sri Lanka (AITS) has been working in Sri Lanka ever since the Tsunami hit the Island in December 2004.
In his own capacity. AITS Founder and Trustee of Nissther Annis, decided to help the poor and the needy in the island and thus the charity was formed in January 2013, with the help of Late Dr Aziz Pasha, Secretary General Union of Muslim Organization in the United Kingdom.
Since its inception, AITS has provided services supporting needy orphans and Widows in their Education, construction of Water Wells, Ramadan Food Parcels (Dry Rations) and Free Eye and Medical Clinic under the able guidance of Dr. Harris Deen its Chairman and other Trustees.
Also they distribute School Books, Bags, Water Bottles and Shoes in several schools in Colombo and Suburbs.
The Books, Bags and Shoe Vouchers were distributed at Mariam Girls College, Colombo 02 recently. It was held under the patronage of Principal of the College Mrs. Rihana Namiz. Al Ihsan Trust Founder and Trustee Nissther Annis, Coordinator Musthaneer Annis, Trustee of the Trust Thabith Naja’s family & friends were present
