COLOMBO — Al Hafil Mohammad Nabil Yasir from Agalawatha left for Makkah,to participate in the 42nd King Abdul Aziz International Holy Quran Memorization Competition from 09th to 21st September .
He had won the first place in the Al-Quran Memorization Competition organized by the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs in year 2019 / 2020
The Director of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs Ibrahim Sahib Ansar wished Hafil Nabil Yasir and handed his Air Tickets at the Department.recently. Ansar said :” The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs congratulates Hafil Nabil Yasir and pray he will win the competition and bring pride to Sri Lanka.”
The Assistant Directors of the Department, M.L.M. Anwar Ali, M.S. Ala Ahmed, Cultural Development Officer M.M.M. Mufthi and father of Al Hafil Nabil Yasir Al Hafil M.A.M,Nafil, Lecturer, Ihsaniyya Arabic College were also present.
