COLOMBO: The Ahasa Media Team had organized Sri Lankan Top 100 Awards Ceremony for the second consecutive year was held a the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Auditorium, Colombo on Tuesday, August 23.
It was held under the patronage of CEO of the Ahasa Media Team Mrs. Priyanga Bandaranaike.
The Awards were presented in various fields such as Education, Sports, Culture, Arts, Media, Business, Bridal Dressing, Graphic Designing, Drama and Films.
The first woman Deputy Inspector General of Police Dilshani Jasinghe Aracchi was also honoiured at this event
M.C. Rasooldeen , Correspondent for Arab News and Chief Editor of Colombo Times, Ruzaik Farook , Freelance Journalist ANCL, Aslam Thowfeek, Managing Director Rite Shu Pvt Ltd, Kavitha Barathi, Vasantham TV, Shihara Halaladeen, Staff Royal Institute, Nalida Perera , ITN and Senior Journalist were among those who received the awards from the guests.
Former Speaker Deshabandu Karu Jayasuriya, Former Minister Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekara MP , Tower Hall Foundation Member of the Board of Directors Hassim Omar, Silumina Chief Editor Senior Journalist Dharman Wickremaratne, Thinakaran Chief Editor Senthil Velavar, and other guests distributed awards to the recipients.
