NEGOMBO- Actor Jehan Appuhamy, started a journey on Tuesday, April 19 carrying a large Cross to show his support for the protestors at Galle Face Green who demand the resignation of the president and his government.
His journey started at 3.15 pm on Tuesday and reached the Kochikade St Anthony’s church in the evening.
On Wednesday, he will begin his walk towards Colombo and plans to reach Galle Face on Thursday, April 21, which is the third anniversary of the Easter Sunday bomb blasts in Sri Lanka.
Appuhamy said that its three years after the tragedy and those responsible for the blasts are still not punished.
