Abu Hurairah  Arabic College hosts Ifthar Breakfast

COLOMBO : Abu Hurairah Arabic College headed by its Founder Director Moulavi A L Haj M S Aroos hosted Ifthar Breakfast on 17th April, 2023 at their college premises in Enderamulla.
Minister of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs was the Chief Guest for this occasion.
Speaking at this occasion Hon. Minister stressed the need to strengthen unity among all communities. He also stated that peaceful coexistence is an important component to build a strong and vigorous nation.
He spent time to speak to most of the College students individually and encouraged them. The Founder Director of Abu Hurairah Arabic College presented him a plaque in honour of his yeomen services to the Community.


Former Coordinator of Muslim Affairs Moulavi Al Haj Hassen Moulana speaking at the occasion said the Founder Director Moulavi Al Haj M S Aroos of Abu Hurairah Arabic College is his Teacher/Usthad who guided him for what he is today. He thanked the Hon Minister for taking his time to be present for this even and is more than happy to be among these 80 students comprising of 47 Hifl Students memorising the 30 volumes of the Holy Quran and 33 students who are following the Al Alim cours

Special guest included Haji Nisthar Annis, AlHaj Junaideen Trustee of Masjidul Firdous Jummah Mosque at Roseville Garden, Mansoor Haji, and Former Trustees of area mosques.

The officials of Abu Hurairah Social Services led by Al Haj M I M Rezwie and T J Packeerally (President of Zakath Committee at Masjidul Firdous Jummah Mosque) were also present.

It should be mentioned here that on 09th of April, 2023 Abu Hurairah Social services carried out a Free Distribution of Books to 80 needy students of all communities within the areas from Akbar Town to Enderamulla, project identified to strengthen unity among all communities and for peaceful coexistence.
