COLOMBO : The Colombo Municipal Council, CMC, vaccinated some 650 city cleaners against the Covid virus at the Gintupitiya Medical Clinic on Sunday, June 6..
Public Health Inspector Herath told Colombo Times that during the past one week, the CMC had covered around 950 including cleaners and others, who vaccinated on Saturday, under its vaccination program.” They are the people who are in the forefront on Colombo streets and we are giving preference to them ,”he added.
Medical Officer who was in charge of Saturday’s program Dr.Pathum Kodikara said that they are giving Sinopharm vaccines to these people and it would be continued till they cover the entire batch of cleaners,
